Scholarships

  1. Custody and Caring Scholarship in Forensic Nursing

    The Custody and Caring scholarship ($1,000) is open to students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan and who are pursuing studies or clinical activities geared towards enhancing their understanding of forensic mental health or correctional nursing.

    To be eligible, applicants must submit a statement of 500 - 1000 words detailing their interest and activities in forensic mental health or correctional nursing and their plans for improving health outcomes in this area.

  2. Custody and Caring Graduate Scholarship in Forensic Nursing

    The Custody and Caring Graduate scholarship ($5,000) is open to a Master of Nursing student at the College of Nursing who is pursuing advanced study in forensic mental health or correctional nursing (theory, practice, research or administration).

    To be eligible, applicants must submit a statement of 500 - 1000 words detailing their interest and/or experience in forensic mental health or correctional nursing, and their plans for improving health outcomes in this area. Applicants must declare a strong interest in pursuing research in forensic mental health or correctional health care. Preference will be given to thesis students studying in this area.
